Help with Cyrus Cheer

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Something not working, a question about your membership, or a program that does not look right? A real person reads every message — there is no ticket queue and no bot in front of it.

hello@cyruscheer.com

We reply within one business day. If it is about a charge or you cannot get into your account, say so in the subject line and it gets looked at first.

Tell us your account email, your device (iPhone 14, iOS 18) and what you were doing when it went wrong. That is usually the difference between one reply and four.

Common things

The app is stuck building my program. Writing a first program takes roughly a minute — it is being written for you, not picked off a shelf. You can close the app while it works; it keeps going and it will be there when you come back. If it is still going after five minutes, email us.

I want to cancel my membership. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple, not through us: on your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Cyrus Cheer → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the period you have paid for runs out. We cannot cancel it for you, and neither can Apple Support cancel it from our side — but email us if it will not go through and we will help you find it.

I paid and the app still says I am not a member. Open the membership screen and tap Restore Purchases. That re-checks your receipt with Apple and is the fix in almost every case. If it does not work, email us with the Apple receipt and we will sort it out.

I want a refund. Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process payments and cannot issue a refund ourselves. If Apple turns you down and you think that is wrong, tell us what happened.

I forgot my password. Tap Sign in, then Forgot password, and we will email you a reset link. If it does not arrive, check spam, then email us from the address the account uses.

An exercise hurts, or looks wrong for me. In a session, open Options → Adjust and pick a reason — including Pain. The program swaps the movement and stops prescribing things that hurt. If something looks unsafe rather than just hard, email us: that is a coaching problem and we want to know.

Someone on The Roster is being a problem. The fastest thing is in the app: open their entry on your Roster and use Report, which blocks them immediately — you do not have to wait for us. You can also remove anyone from your Roster at any time, or write to hello@cyruscheer.com. We review every report we receive and aim to respond within two business days, and faster where someone’s safety is involved. Where a report is justified we remove the handle, display name or content, and we may suspend or remove the account.

Deleting your account

You can do this yourself, and you do not need a membership to reach it. In the app: Member → Delete account. It is also on the membership screen, so it is reachable before you ever subscribe.

It deletes your account, your programs, your training log, your schedule and your check-ins from our servers, and it clears the copy stored on your phone. It does not cancel an Apple subscription — do that through Apple first, using the steps above, or you will keep being billed for an account that no longer exists.

If you are under 18

Anything here works the same for you, and a parent or guardian can email us on your behalf. If a parent asks us to delete a minor's data, we do it.

Privacy, data and legal

Cyrus Cheer is not a doctor

Training carries a real risk of injury and nothing in the app is medical advice. Go at your own pace, stop if something hurts, and talk to a physician before starting — especially with an existing injury or condition.
