Forum Guidelines

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This forum is where Cyrus Cheer athletes ask for new skills, report things that are broken, and tell us what to build next. Lots of the people here are teenagers. These rules keep it useful and keep everyone safe. They are short — please read them.

Everything you post is public. Anyone on the internet can read the forum without signing in. Only your @handle is shown — never your name or your email. Don't put anything in a post you wouldn't want a stranger, a coach, or your parents to read.

1. Who can post

Anyone can read. To post, reply, vote or report, you sign in with your Cyrus Cheer app account, you need an @handle, and you need to have made a training program in the app. You must be 13 or older — the same rule as the app.

2. Be kind

3. Keep personal info off the forum

Not yours, and not anyone else's. That means no:

The forum won't let you post links, emails, phone numbers, or “add me on…” messages, and it blocks swearing and slurs. If something gets through anyway, report it.

If anyone asks you to talk somewhere else, don't. Report the post and tell a parent or another adult you trust.

4. No medical advice

Don't tell anyone how to treat an injury, and don't ask the forum to figure out what's wrong with you. Strangers on the internet can't see you, and a wrong answer can hurt someone.

If something hurts, stop and talk to a doctor, an athletic trainer, or your coach. Nothing on this forum is medical advice — that includes replies from the Cyrus Cheer team.

5. Keep it about training and the app

Pick the category that fits:

No ads, no selling, no spam, and no posting the same thing over and over. Look through the list before you post — if someone already asked, vote it up instead.

6. How voting works

7. Reporting and blocking

Report a post or reply if it breaks these rules. Pick a reason — harassment, personal or contact info, inappropriate, spam, or other — and add a short note if it helps. We never tell anyone who reported them.

Block an athlete to stop seeing them. To block someone, tap Block on any of their posts. While you're signed in, you won't see their posts and they won't see yours, and neither of you can reply to or vote on the other. Remember the forum is public: someone who isn't signed in can still read any post, so blocking hides people from each other — it doesn't make your posts private.

If someone is in danger right now, don't wait for us. Call 911 (or your local emergency number) and tell an adult.

8. What the Cyrus Cheer team does

The forum is run by the Cyrus Cheer team (Cyrus and Nick). We can:

We don't read every post the moment it goes up, so please report anything that looks wrong. Votes help us decide what to build, but a request getting lots of votes isn't a promise that we'll build it.

9. Deleting your posts

To delete something you wrote, use Delete on your post. It comes off the forum straight away. To delete everything, delete your account in the app: Member → Delete account. That removes all your posts, replies, votes and reports. It also removes any thread you started, including the replies other athletes left on it.

Deleting doesn't undo copies or screenshots someone else may already have made — another reason to keep personal things off the forum. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we keep and for how long.

10. Parents and guardians

If you're a parent or guardian and you want a post removed, or your teen's account deleted, email hello@cyruscheer.com with the @handle and what the post says. We'll take it down. If a parent asks us to delete a minor's account and data, we do it. Privacy requests can also go to privacy@cyruscheer.com.

11. Questions

Email hello@cyruscheer.com. A real person reads it. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service; breaking them can mean losing your account.
